Fit Body Tip #1
Content: Don't wait for inspiration. Begin and inspiration will come. Do whatever it takes for you to move that body. If you are waiting for some sort of inner fire to fuel you to exercise, you can forget it. We humans are not wired that way! Get moving and the fuel for motivation will follow.
Fit Body Tip #2
Content: Don’t be afraid to ask questions from fitness experts in your area and at your local gym. They are there to help and guide you. Get informed and take action immediately.
Fit Body Tip #3
Content: In addition to your aerobic and strength training activities, incorporate a flexibility program such as Pilates by Liz. Flexibility is the number one component that is often overlooked in a fitness program. This is exactly how injuries can occur. In my professional opinion, Pilates is by far the best way to address flexibility, posture and muscle symmetry.
Fit Body Tip #4
Content: Post a picture of a hot body on that fridge!! Make it someone or something that gets you motivated to look and feel your best. I find that putting up a picture of a healthy, sexy and attractive fitness model is inspiring enough to bypass the chocolate cake, or prevent skipping a workout.
Fit Body Tip #5
Content: Don't skip breakfast and make better choices at your favorite eating establishments. Before a night out on the town, eat a healthy meal prior to leaving your home. This will help you stay away from the buffet table and keep you less tempted to cheat, thus sabotaging all of your hard work.
Fit Body Tip #6
Content: Mistakes are stepping stones, not road blocks. I don’t care how many times in the past you have embarked on a fitness quest, and have failed at it for whatever reason. Look, if the hall of famers in baseball, those players who are considered the best in the world failed 70 times out of 100, you can begin again too! Yes, they failed 70% and succeeded 30% of the time.
They failed miserably, but they didn’t give up. What they did was use their mistakes as lessons on what didn’t work and what did work. In your workouts, pay attention to the results you are getting.
Look to see what is working and what is not working for you and then make the necessary changes. Stay focused and stay committed to your health. |
